From Barriers to Engaging Conversations – 4 hours online

Aim

Be able to overcome barriers and deal with resistance. Build confidence in using tools and techniques to keep people engaged.

Objectives

• Explain barriers and why they are there.
• Describe how you can make an impression and build rapport.
• Review your understanding of active listening.
• Adopt visual tools to engage and involve people.
• Identify what is going on behind the presenting conflict.
• Explore how you can use Transactional Analysis.
• Follow a structure for having difficult conversations.
